Responsible Gaming

Last updated: May 5, 2026

Plutus is a skill-based gaming platform. While our games are determined by player skill and not chance, we recognise that competitive gaming involving real money can still pose risks for some individuals. We are committed to providing a safe, fair, and enjoyable experience for everyone on the Platform.

If you or someone you know is struggling with problem gambling, help is available 24/7:

1. Our Commitment

Plutus takes responsible gaming seriously. Our commitments include:

  • Restricting real-money games to users who are 18 years of age or older.
  • Operating only in jurisdictions where skill-based real-money competitions are lawful, and blocking access from restricted states.
  • Providing tools that empower you to control your gaming activity.
  • Training our support team to recognise and respond to signs of problem gaming behaviour.
  • Promoting gaming as entertainment, not as a means of income or financial solution.

2. Know Your Limits

Before participating in any real-money competition, we encourage you to:

  • Set a budget. Decide in advance how much you are comfortable spending and stick to it. Never compete with money you cannot afford to lose.
  • Set time limits. It is easy to lose track of time while gaming. Schedule regular breaks and respect them.
  • Keep it in perspective. Skill-based games can be competitive, but the primary goal should be enjoyment and improvement. Losses are part of competition — they do not define your worth.
  • Don't chase losses. If you are on a losing streak, take a break. Playing more to recover losses rarely helps and can make the situation worse.
  • Avoid gaming under stress. Do not play real-money games when you are tired, emotional, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or under significant financial pressure.

3. Signs of Problem Gaming

Consider taking a break or seeking help if you recognise any of the following signs in yourself or someone you care about:

  • Spending more time or money on gaming than intended.
  • Feeling anxious, irritable, or restless when not playing, or when trying to cut back.
  • Hiding gaming activity or lying to family or friends about how much you play or spend.
  • Borrowing money, selling possessions, or neglecting responsibilities (work, school, relationships) to fund gaming.
  • Repeatedly trying to "win back" money lost in previous sessions.
  • Gaming as a primary way to escape problems, relieve stress, or cope with negative emotions.
  • Continuing to play despite wanting to stop or knowing it is causing harm.

4. Self-Exclusion & Account Controls

We offer the following tools to help you manage your gaming activity:

  • Temporary self-exclusion: Take a voluntary break from real-money competitions for a set period. During this time you will not be able to enter paid matches.
  • Permanent account closure: If you wish to permanently close your account, visit the Account & Privacy page or contact our support team. Any remaining withdrawable balance will be processed according to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
  • Subscription management: Cancel your subscription at any time from the Subscriptions page to stop future billing.

To request a self-exclusion or any account control, email us at info@plutus.gg with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request". We will action your request within 24 hours.

5. Protecting Minors

The Platform is strictly for users aged 18 and over. If you share a device with minors, we strongly recommend:

  • Logging out of your Plutus account when you are not using the device.
  • Using device-level parental controls to restrict access to the Platform.
  • Never sharing your account credentials with anyone under 18.

If you suspect a minor has accessed our Platform, please contact us immediately at info@plutus.gg.
